Wishing You a Merry Christmas

December 20, 2022

Christmas Day, one of the most important religious holidays in Christianity, is quickly approaching us.

Whether it's shopping for gifts, finalizing festive decorations, or attending church services, many Christians around the globe are gearing up to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones.

Christmas Day is a public holiday in many countries, including Jordan, and it is celebrated religiously by Christian citizens and culturally by many non-Christian Jordanians. In Jordan, most Christians gather on Christmas Eve to enjoy a fun-filled evening of delicious food and gift-giving with their loved ones and on Christmas day, many citizens begin their celebrations by attending a morning Christmas mass at a local church followed by a festive lunch with their family members.

To celebrate the spirit of Christmas this week, here are some of the most beautiful Christmas Bible verses.

  1. Revelation 12:5
"And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne."
  2. James 1:17
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
  3. Matthew 6:2
"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."
  4. Proverbs 17:22
“A cheerful heart is good medicine.”
  5. Romans 12:10
“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."

JTBNA wishes you a joyous Christmas filled with love, light, and happiness.
