A group of bloggers from North America visited Jordan and shared their unique experiences, reflecting on the incredible places they visited, the wonderful culture they experienced, and the genuine people they met.

Some of the places the bloggers visited include Jordan's Wadi Rum desert, where Hollywood blockbusters such as The Martian and Dune were filmed, the Baptism Site of Jesus Christ, and the historic Nabatean city of Petra, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Throughout their time in the kingdom, they interacted with many locals, tasted an array of Middle Eastern dishes, and explored Jordan's wonders.

Here is a roundup of some of the best parts of their trip.

1. Jordan is full of geographical richness, ranging from extensive deserts to mountains and seas.

2. Jordan has amazing history that traces back to the beginning of time allowing people to see the "birthplace of humanity." Some of the country's historic places include the ancient Greco-Roman city of Jerash and the sacred spot of Mount Nebo, which is believed to be where prophet Moses died.

3. The Jordanian people are extremely kind, generous, and hospitable.

4. Jordan offers an array of experiences all in one place, from relaxing overnight stays at the luxurious 5-star Dead Sea hotels to barbecuing with bedouins in the Wadi Rum desert and religious trips to biblical places such as Jesus Christ's Baptism Site.

5. Ancient ruins are extremely well-preserved.

6. The food is fresh and delicious. Many of the dishes offered in Jordan are exotic yet familiar.
